“Mechakucha” (めちゃくちゃ) is a Japanese word that sort of means “nonsense” or “jumbled”, and that’s exactly how this website started.
Mechakucha.info started out as a quirky blog about my life as an expat living in Tokyo between 2008 and 2010. My expat days are over, but I still visit Japan from time to time, so new Japan material will appear every now and then.
Mechakucha.info also contains stories of some hiking/bushwalking/tramping trips, whether in Japan, Australia or elsewhere.
