Hong Kong photos

I’m back from Hong Kong this week, and back to work in Tokyo, so here are some of the photos & highlights.

Key moments of the trip:

  • Seeing a snake near the top of Victoria Peak
  • Typhoon Nuri shutting down Hong Kong
  • Reverse culture shock – English bookshops, Western surroundings – maybe I went too hard too early in trying to be as Japanese as possible
  • Catching up with Kana & Jimmy all over Hong Kong – out in the New Territories, in Wan Chai, Kowloon and walking around Mong Kok markets
  • Seeing Hong Kong cityscape and the lights free of smog and all lit up – see videos below
