Shibuya

Quick melt

Daylight, and it’s all gone.  As I predicted, it didn’t last very long.  It would have been nice to experience going to work in the snow.  Perhaps people from places where they often have to snow

Sakura-ga-oka Sakura Namiki

Here are some photos taken tonight from my mobile phone camera of the hill leading up from Shibuya Station to the Sakura-ga-oka district – appropriately named at this time of year, with the row of cherry blossoms.  Bring on the weekend and hanami!

Love hotels & fugu restaurants

Fugu

What do fugu and love hotels have in common?  I was struggling to find a direct link, but on the way home from dinner last night, I found a fugu restaurant located right next to one of the most gaudy love hotels in Shibuya. (more…)
