Sakuradamon Sunset

Sunset in Tokyo 18 Jul 08

I had 15 mins up my sleeve before meeting someone after work tonight, so I took a walk to the moat around the Imperial Palace before heading back to the subway line.  Here are two photos of the sunset from Sakuradamon.  The Kokkaigijido (Diet) is visible in the first one.

There were lots of people running around the moat, even though it was really humid.  I couldn’t work out why nobody was running anti-clockwise.  There must be a rule about it somewhere.

  1. Dave,

Glad to hear you’re progressing well in Japan.

There’s another bottle of Chandon in it if I see a photo posted on this blog of you running around the moat anti-clockwise……

    Cheers, KK
