This is the view out my Hong Kong hotel window at 9am on Friday. It’s unusually quiet. The usual traffic jam is gone, and the buses are empty. It’s because we’re waiting for Typhoon Nuri, and warning signal 8 is in force. That basically means don’t go outside. I’ve had two appointments cancelled. Lucky I bought some English books yesterday due to my reverse culture shock!
